Description: 

Fragment used as a flyleaf for an 11th c. sacramentary (see: https://www.e-codices.unifr.ch/en/list/one/csg/0340). The recto contains texts for the mass for the dead, in two columns, dating to approximately the 14th or 15th century, with later marginal additions.

The verso contains collects for a commemorative mass for parents. In addition, the lower margin contains an alleluia verse for Mary Magdalene in unheightened neumes, whose text is identical to that in St-Gall 376 (see: http://cantus.uwaterloo.ca/sequence/623096; for images, see https://www.e-codices.unifr.ch/en/csg/0376/9/0/) The same Alleluia verse is also an addition to the first folio of St-Gall 342 : https://www.e-codices.unifr.ch/en/csg/0342/1/0/Sequence-489.
